League of Legends Battlegrounds Opens!

Alienware Arena is proud to announce the launch of the League of Legends Battlegrounds!

Join today and battle your way to the top of the ladder. The top 32 teams at the end of the Fall Season will be eligible to join the Invitational Tournament. Play begins September 23, register today!.

The Alienware Arena Battlegrounds programs allows teams to play as much as they want around their own schedule. Join and play with your friends in 5v5 competition for your chance at $1,500 in prizes in the Invitational Tournament.

Registration: Open Now!
Play Begins: September 23, 2011
Fall Season Ends: November 20, 2011
Invitational Tournament (Top 32 Teams): November 26 - December 1, 2011
Invitational Tournament Prizes: $1,500

All Alienware Arena tournaments are region specific due to: legalities, sponsor interests, and budgeting.

If we have a friend who we want on our team but he lives in South America, he can not join right? are there any exceptions to this?
Also what if we have a friend on vacation that is not in the region being supported? Does he have to go back to the supported region to participant.

South America is not allowed to participate in this event as its a separate region of the Alienware Arena.

If he is going on vacation that maybe acceptable but they will need to talk about it with one of CEVOs admins through the support link. If not add a backup player.

Quebec is not allowed due to Quebec's laws being really bad.
