We're excited at Alienware Arena to launch today the Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising - Extreme Launch Tournament.
The tournament is the first in a new series of online tournaments sponsored by Intel featuring hit new PC titles. The series is a part of Alienware Arena, a promotions and community portal presented by Alienware, Dell's premier, high-performance PC gaming brand representing premium power and performance for gamers and technology enthusiasts alike.
The Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising - Extreme Launch Tournament will consist of single-elimination bracket play among up to 128 gamers from across the United States and Canada. Matches will be played three times per week from May 10th through until the Championships on June 13th. To the winners will go the spoils of war including $1,500 in cash to be split among the top 3 players, plus an Intel Core i7-970 processor for the overall champion and runner-up each valued at approximately $560.00. The total value of all cash and prizes is over $2,500.00 USD.
