And what connect it to? 20 mbps ADSL2+ ;> Welcome to The Digital Agenda - Europe 2020 ...in Poland. Old Linksys WRT54GL (OpenWRT/Tomato) does the job + network hub (5x GbEth & Wifi 802.11ac).

WiFi & serious gaming? Mercy please. Even Steamlink works much better with simple FastEthernet than with fancy wifi supporting 802.11ac 5GHz, MIMO & beamforming.

BTW:

I've got Killer E2200 wired chipset on motherboard - most resource hungry and bundled with support problems chipset ever. Even worse than cheap grandpa Realtek8139.

Dell X300 @WARP 5 ;>

Just a very excessive ad for a new product. Fortunately, I do not have the budget for that, and I do not have the desire for that. And who has a house full of connected objects using wi-fi? Probably some rich city-dwellers worshiping Apple & Co., but surely not the majority of people.

lets see how many people go buy the "latest" thing and a complete waste of money. It can throughput up to 2.4Gbps cool but no provider offers even close to those speeds available.

It's the throughput that people should look at if they are having wireless issues in their home..

Most routers already have a QoS (Quality of service) that can be applied for what apps/games to prioritize.
