AMD vs Intel CPU?

  • 242

I think that for gaming, tests have shown that Intel processors give more FPS but we all know the GPU plays the biggest part in this. So do you recommend AMD Ryzen processors for a gaming desktop since they are cheaper and have more cores for the same price?

AMD CPU overheating problem + older gen. Don't buy.

What do you mean by older gen? And is the overheating even present in the Ryzen models?

Prefer Intel for stability (Stock), but used to be a certified AMD Retail Professional, so I'm kinda' mixed. :/

If its for gaming I say get Intel 8th or 9th gen. AMD's are picky with RAM.

Intel > gaming
amd > everything else
it's hard saying since i use a fx 8370 and never had a problem, i had more problems with windows breaking my computer...

For gaming mainly GPU matters. I know guys with AMD and they don't complain.

that's not as big of a difference these days as it used to be,the ryzen is more than capable,i however use the i5 6500 skylake,my previous was a i5 2500k sandy bridge.

Intel of course.
