Kojima says Death Stranding was financially successful

Death Stranding creator has said that the game have earned enough to cover its costs and help the team in preparations for their next project.

Death Stranding has divided the gaming community, some liked it and some did not. An exact ratio of these it is not know, but it can be concluded that the game did not dominate the market like for example Metal Gear Solid did.

However, it seems that that this project in the end was financially successful. Head of the Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima, stated in a interview for the Japanese portal Livedoor how earnings from sales of Death Stranding have covered the costs of production and that studio has earned enough money to start preparations for its next project.

The PC version, which will be released July 17 of this year, should also bring additional earnings. Kojima reveals how that's not a project that he had planned. Or, that the game that he wanted to work on recently got canceled, what angered him. It is possible here that it is about "the most scariest horror game" which he wanted to make, but since it has been canceled by some other company, we can only guess what kind of project it's about.

In short, first 4-7 hours are relatively boring only because there's a ton to learn. After that there's a lot of action and overwhelming world changing events, as well as combat.

Past ending of Episode 2, it becomes big fun, because beginning areas are underwhelming, combat is limited and toys at disposal are beginner level. It's pretty much a tutorial area similar to Great Plateau of Breath of the Wild.

My verdict, not a game for everyone. But for those who this game is positive, they will absolutely love it
