CROSSPLAY coming to Apex Legends Tuesday October 6th!

  • 107

Apex Legends will launch their Aftermarket Collection Event this Tuesday October 6th, which will include CROSSPLAY as a new feature! The setting will be enabled by default for console players, so Xbox One and PS4 players will automatically start matchmaking with one another on console-only servers. If there is a PC player on the team, the team will be put into PC matches. Cross-platform groups will be able to use in-game voice chat as well.

The event also includes a new Limited Time Mode (LTM) with FLASHPOINT.

In Flashpoint, several healing zones will be placed around the map where your health and shields automatically regenerate. Respawn says this will lead to "massive multi-squad fights that bring the feeling of a team deathmatch to Apex Legends." All healing and shield items have been removed, so the only way to heal in a fight is to get yourself inside one of these zones! Of course, you won't be alone with that idea, so watch out.

But wait, there's MORE!

Dozens of new event-exclusive skins will be available to earn, craft, and/or purchase. Collect them all to unlock CAUSTIC'S HEIRLOOM!

A giant, gaseous sledgehammer tells foes you mean business.

Between crossplay, a new LTM, dozens of new skins, a new heirloom, event-themed badges to earn, increased chances on legendaries in loot ticks, and reduced-price bundles, Tuesday is shaping up to be a BIG day in Apex. Hope to see you there!

Cool news, the event looks anwsome as well. But this is gonna be hard with fight that never ends, a lot of players will wait and hide, to move until the last team is alive. If anyone wanna add on origin to play apex feel free to pm me ;)
