Battery draining when powered off

Hi all,

I have an Area-51M laptop. I went to grab it from my bag and noticed the battery was completely drained. I plugged it in and let it fully charge, but now I notice it is slowly draining when fully powered off and unplugged.

Anyone else experience this, wondering if I should call support. I also experience the issue where you power on the laptop and the keyboard doesn't light up or work. I restart the system and I get the rainbow lights and everything works. Figure if I have to call them, I'll have them look at both issues.
