Not seeing dell rewards in my dell.com account

  • 4

I claimed the dell rewards in my AWA account, created a new dell.com account with the same email as my AWA account cause apparently you can't link the two, but I'm not seeing my dell rewards $ in the account? How do I get it to show up? I'm trying to buy a laptop and was hoping I can use the credit.

First, Do you see the Dell Rewards $$$ on your AWA profile? If not, sometimes you need to wait a few days for it to be applied to your account. I've had it happen to me where I redeemed Dell Rewards $$$, but it doesn't show up, so I emailed the AWA support desk and they applied it to my account the next day.

Second, if you are in the USA, did you use this link to sign up for Dell Rewards: https://www.dell.com/en-us/lp/dell-rewards-program (I didn't create a new Dell.com account from the homepage, I created it through the rewards program link)

If so, I recommend speaking to someone on the Dell.com site and explaining the situation. Fortunately they have a Live Chat feature :) Hopefully they can look into your account to make sure everything is setup correctly.

I see it in the rewards section:

But not in my profile:

Can an admin answer how long this will take? I'm trying to buy a laptop for university as soon as possible and would like to actually use the credits.

The Dell rewards from ARP needs to be manually verified and added by an AWA admin.

If they don't show up after a week~ or so email contact@alienwarearena.com about it.

It's been a week now and they're still not even showing up in my AWA account, let alone my Dell.com account.

Sent an email to the AWA contact as well, no response. Guess these "rewards" for each tier promotion are mostly a waste of time. I'm almost certain if you pick the merch as the reward they'll never get shipped as well.

Funny thing is the rewards have a 90-day expiry day as well. So I guess they're expecting you to predict when you'll need to buy something 1 month in advance. It would be funny if it takes them 2 months and 3 weeks to activate my rewards, then it'll expire the following week.

Why am I not surprised? -_-

I looked at your account. Looks like a dell account was never created for you. Someone at contact@alienwarearena.com will definitely get back to you soon.  It can take a day or 2 to get a response during busy periods.  The rewards you have earned do not start the 90 day expiration until they are in your dell account, so you're good to go there.

Hey, there friend! I went ahead and sent an email to the CA DR team :) they should get back to me within the next day or two! I will private message you when I attach your id and manually push those rewards through!

I've already sent an email to contact@alienwarearena.com a week ago, no response. I've also manually created a dell.com account using the same email address as my AWA account.

It still says $0 on my AWA account:

I've just redeemed another $40 for the "hardcore" tier rewards, so the total should be $100 now, not the previous $60.

ouch, saw this topic resurface again.......

there's one thing I can say on this is that Dell.com is very finicky with account information. Maybe if your username has a special character (like a ! symbol), your account isn't properly recognized. I am saying this because when I ordered something on Dell.com, I used my last name initial and my order was cancelled. I then used my full last name and the order went through. They don't warn you about this stuff......

I doubt it's related to the actual forum name. They should be using your email address to link AWA with Dell.

They should really put a disclaimer for redeeming this reward - may take 1 month or so to actually go into your Dell.com account, so don't depend on this for urgent purchases. -_-

Honestly this is pathetic. Over 2 weeks since redeeming $100 in rewards, and they still haven't even appeared in my AWA account, let alone Dell.com account. Not a peep from anyone from AWA or Dell despite following up multiple times. At this rate I won't be surprised if they take another 2 months to get from AWA account to Dell, if I get them at all. I guess you have to redeem like 3 months in advance if you want to buy anything.
