Sign-in on Windows PC and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).

Navigate to Previews > Quake 4.

Select Join.

Wait for the registration to complete to be directed to the Store and install Quake 4!

that part worked for me on xbox insider hud. its when i get directed to microsoft store i get that message. I tried again and now it shows up in the store

The store got bogged down. You can get Wolf:ET the same way, but you could practically get it elsewhere. I at least had a copy grandfathered from another computer from over a decade ago.

Some posts said when they quit the preview the game is sill in their list of games owned. I havent tried leaving the preview yet being If I come across any issues ill send them a message.

If it's anything like the previous ones like when I got Gears 5, it should be permanent.

Yeah the only game I had removed or didnt show I own after was State of Decay - Year One Survival Edition , when I did one of these preview deals.
