The Pink Panther hit up the monthly login rewards!

  • 1

Since I joined Alienware Arena there have always been 2 login rewards on the calendar each month, an ARP multiplier and some kind of funky badge. I actually look forward to the stinkin' badge, but that gem of a give away has been filched from the log in rewards this month.

Maybe we should put Inspector Clouseau on the job to find that po.. uh, puppy. And I thought the Pink Panther was just a jewel thief....

Yea I'm not sure why there is no badge on there this month, calender looks kinda bare without it.

Oh, wow! Those were the good ol' days.

I wish the log in rewards went back to that...

Handing out badges and borders for free would make the marketplace redundant. Lotus-eaters at AWA team still wait for ARP whales to invest in digital bling.

Are you sure that's a whale and not a Vogon? That looks like the Vogon bureaucrat that I narrowly escaped from while he was giving a coma inducing speech on the benefits of a space by-pass through this solar system.

I'm saving my ARP for some socks with GLOWING alien heads. All rewards merchandise should have GLOWING alien heads. The non glowing alien heads is just to terrestrial to spend my ARP on.

More ARP?!! Where? Maybe it slipped between the cushions of the commander's chair in my spaceship, and it is rolling around with some dead french fries, a couple of nearly sentient coffee cups, and a gaggle of rapidly multiplying tribbles...

Allow me to introduce you to Jones, an augmented dolphin used by the Navy to hack enemy subs and sweep mines.

Entry from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Author, Douglas Adams) regarding dolphins:

It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reasons.

Curiously enough, the dolphins had long known of the impending destruction of the planet Earth and had made many attempts to alert mankind of the danger; but most of their communications were misinterpreted as amusing attempts to punch footballs or whistle for tidbits, so they eventually gave up and left the Earth by their own means shortly before the Vogons arrived.

The last ever dolphin message was misinterpreted as a surprisingly sophisticated attempt to do a double-backwards somersault through a hoop whilst whistling the "Star Spangled Banner", but in fact the message was this: So long and thanks for all the fish.
