No more Ark please (Steam Quest)

Galactic
  • 5

Hi to all Alienware users!
The topic is kinda simple, i really would like that Ark stopped beeing in the steam quest missions, you would ask why? Welp it is because the game is almost 130 gb to download if not more because of it's dlc, i have no problems with beeing payed games in the weekly missions but Ark is just too much, i don't have problem downloading the game but is a pain and probably impossible for people with limited internet plans.

So what the community thinks?
Do you agree?

PD: Sorry if i misspelled something but my english is kinda bad, hope you can understand what i am saying!
Have an awesome day all !smiley

You can use a GeForce Now free account to play ARK. No need to download it

Yes, because you are streaming from your steam account on GeForce Now.

You can try it this week for Apex.

I've had Ark for years and never played it.  From what I heard your at a big disadvantage to experienced players.  Maybe a PVE server and just play for fun but I never had any urge to play it for some reason although it looks good.  The files size is massive so that is kinda turn off.  I mean really I don't do most of the steam quests anyway just hear or there if I feel like it.  The file size made me skip it a few times.

I'll give it a try. Thanks!

If you have an android device, just use an app called Idle Daddy.  Not sure if there is an app for iOS but you can probably just use BlueStacks on your PC to emulate android if there isn't.

I tried it out today and it worked. As long as your steam account is linked, you don't need to launch the game from alienware (I never have). With GeForce, you make a free account and then pick the game and platform, it'll then ask you to sign in to your steam account. It'll start streaming the game and if you look at your steam client you'll see that you're playing that game.

Edit*- Be sure to click 'activate mission' on alienware steamquest page though. Otherwise you won't get credit. But you do not need to 'launch' the game through alienware.
