EA expects to sell about 3 million copies of Mass Effect Andromeda in ten days

  • 239

During yesterday's Electronic Arts conference with investors the log to which we have access to, present also touched the Mass Effect Andromeda even though the game comes out just ten days before the end of the fiscal year. Investors were interested in whether is expected the majority earnings after the end of the third month when the new fiscal year starts, but EA's director Blake Jorgensen has high expectations.

Jorgensen says that the company expects in the ten days since the release of Mass Effect Andromeda till the end of the fiscal year to achieve thirty to fifty percent of the total sales of the game. He also stated that Mass Effect 3 has been sold in six million copies, so to expect is that they hope to sell close to the three million copies in those ten days and then the rest and maybe a little more whenever while the game is on the market.

Because of how big this serial is and even it`s about the new sequel, that should present something fresh and at the same time should be released on the three most recent platforms (not on Nintendo Switch admittedly) , we believe that these figures are not crazy and EA could reach them. Do you count your own a copy in those three million?

Interstellar

I already pre-ordered my copy few weeks ago :) (Deluxe Edition)

I'm not expecting this game to be better than the first mass effect story, but i do expect to a degree to do good. It will probably sell those 3 million copies in 10 days solely because the series is still pretty big and while it left a disappointing finale, people still want more of it.

I'l wait for launch and see the reviews and whatnot, i'm not going to pre order something if the game turns out shit.

EA are just pandering to investors as always. Shame they don't care about their customers as much.
