PC port of Nier Automata is good, but the players with the controller are in obvious advantage
The famous critic and commentator TotalBiscuit analyzed the PC port of Nier Automata. It seems that from the technical point port is pretty good, because the game looks better than on consoles, turns well and has an acceptable number of options, so TotalBiscuit called it the best game port of Platinum Games so far.
Problems with the controls proved to be inevitable, however, so dodging the attack and targeting yours is limited on the keyboard and mouse compared with the controller, a sections in which the game changes perspective have additional problems. We conclude that the controller is definitely an optimal tool for playing Automate, although it is quite playable on the keyboard with certain challenges and limitations.
