Ubisoft tomorrow removes support for Uplay on Windows Vista

We do not know how many PC players are still playing on Windows Vista, definitely the most hated Microsoft's OS in the 21st century, but everything is going towards that customers make an upgrade. Vista, in fact, soon will lose Microsoft support and will no longer receive important updates, and similar stands for Ubisoft's digital platform for PC games.

Like that it was announced that the support for Uplay on Vista will end with tomorrow's day, 11/04. The news is not alarming if you're on Vista because on that OS for some time you`ll be able to play games using Uplay. However, since the client will not receive any updates for that OS, sooner or later for playing newer games you`ll need to switch to newer versions of Windows.

Some hearts are true!

No idea if anyone is still using Vista for Uplay but for Steam the usage for March 2017 was like 0.11% so this dropped support sounds reasonable to me.

All your base are belong to us.

Nothing to cry about. Vista was very weak system, so not many people stayed with it.

The cake is a lie

They are still supporting Win 7, so there is nothing to worry about.

Vista was not that great, but the real story is Ubisoft bowing to Microsofts commands. MS is pulling leashes from all directions to get everybody to move Windows 10. Recent articles confirmed MS's aggressive moves and Windows 10 is a well known spyware/key logger which takes the rights away from the user when choosing updates/installs.

People still use Vista? I jumped to w7 the moment it went out, and using it by this day.
