BioWare is working on a new Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic title
We have exciting news for fans of the Star Wars franchise, or simply lovers of good RPG games in general. It seems that could come back a great Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic franchise, which was almost inexplicably silenced back in 2004. Of course, this is true if you do not count The Old Republic MMO, and we do not count because it's not that.
Very reliable journalist Liam Robertson leads Unseen64 page dedicated to the discovery of unfinished or discarded games revealed in an exclusive podcast for its donors that BioWare Austin is already working on the Knights of the Old Republic project. He says the idea has started as some kind of remake, but in the meantime has moved away from this idea then that they are now working on a prototype of a new game.
The first two games of the series were completely original story, mostly unrelated to the former narrative of Star Wars, but they were so good that they were extended and accepted in a wider universe of the franchise. Robertson confirms that the new game will take in consideration new movies even though we do not know how nor to what extent.
