Bayonetta officially released for the PC via Steam

Platinum Games makes the best character-action games on the market, a Bayonetta is considered by many their best game ever, so now you connect two and two together. Unfortunately, the first game of this successful series was console exclusive, and the other one even more limited to the Wii U console, but today SEGA issued an unit for PC what recently was announced that they`ll do.

It is available on Steam for 20 dollars which is quite a decent price, especially when you consider that the recently remastered Bulletstorm costs 46 US dollars. Runs at 60 FPS which we expected because it is crucial in these games, and the resolution is unlocked which means that you can run it in 4K if you want and if you can, that is if you have a screen on which it would meant something.

We remind that once Bayonetta was a hit that was collecting perfect scores in several respected media and generally very positive impressions. We can`t wait to play it and just hope that it will look good because graphics have been a little out of date. But if it does not look fabulous, we know that it has style and is fun to play, so we believe that is worth to revise it.

So 8-bit Bayonetta was more than an April Fools' joke.

''From my short time with a pre-release version of the game, Bayonetta on PC looks to be easily the definitive way to play the game, and a strong port all around. Basic graphics options expectations are fulfilled, a solid 60 FPS should be achievable over a variety of systems, and default PC inputs are supported.

While the VRAM indicator is a bit curious and MSAA currently appears to be non-functioning, due to the reliably speedy performance and arbitrary resolution support these drawbacks are rather easy to overlook and, to some extent, mitigate.''
