Star Wars Battlefront 2 supports co-op on the same screen, but not on PC
DICE has confirmed that the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 will have a substantial portion of offline content, not only in the form of a full single player campaign but also through cooperative mode for up to two players on the same screen. Well, it seems that DICE is confident that PC gamers are not interested in such playing, so this feature they removed from the PC version of the game.
On the official page is clearly explained that console exclusivity, but are also listed and further details. Everything that we unlock and win in that offline multiplayer mode will be transferred to the online multiplayer, which is quite fair decision.
If we had to guess how big the demand for split-screen multiplayer gaming on the PC we would say that it is not exaggerated, but it is strange that the same game sells at the same price with one less option which wouldn`t bothered anyone on the PC.
