The most cute phrase of Overwatch was recorded by mistake

  • 308

One of the sweetest words of Overwatch and my personal favorite was an accident. During the game festival in Tribeca last weekend, senior game designer Michael Chu said that his merit was the appearance of the phrase May, which apologizes several times. This phrase was written in error and it was not prepared in advance.

The actress (Zhang Yu) just made a mistake and started apologizing "Sorry, sorry, sorry". I immediately turned to the sound engineer and asked: "Did you write this down?" He said yes. And I told him: "Send me a record."
So appeared in the game one of the sweetest phrases, which is used by players both as irony, and as a sincere apology for the unsuccessfully located ice wall.

I doubt it is a real story.

People likes this kind of mythes. So devs provide it.

Mei's voice actress is actually like this in real life judging by her interviews and public appearances, so it's not out of the ordinary if that voice line was indeed accidental.

Oh, okay. Thank you for details :)
Then seems I have to say "sorry". Or may be "sorry, sorry, sorry" :)
