Rumor: details of Assassin's Creed: Origins and preparation of Far Cry 5

The new game Assassin's Creed already had leaks, but Ubisoft itself did not show anything. Unfortunately, the publisher is still silent, in the meantime, another leak occurred. Since new information is not confirmed, take with a pinch of salt.
The user Reddit Sirusavath says that he worked with a company that issues cards for pre-order for a couple of stores. So it turned out that Ubisoft not only works on Far Cry 5, but a new game for assassins will be called Assassin's Creed: Origins.

The company I work with is associated with the issue of pre-order cards for a couple of stores and a few weeks ago there was an order for Far Cry 5. There was also one on Assassin's Creed: Origins. I have already seen the main art and he represents the Egyptian setting of the game that was rumored to be called "Empire".

According to the user, he could not consider for a long time, but the art depicts a city with a pyramid on the background. In the center of the map, the new Assassin walks toward the city. It looked like he was carrying a shield, an onion, and on his shoulder was a falcon.
A number of other sources say that Origins will be devoted to the history of the formation of the guild of assassins and the game will have two main characters: man and woman. It is noted that the structure of the game will not be linear, and the progress of the character is not so attached to history. The player will receive much more freedom, focusing on research - the scale will be truly epic. According to other rumors, you can explore not only Egypt, but also regions beyond, perhaps even Greece. Return boats, allowing you to swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Sea battles are also included.
Another source claims, referring to the video from Ubisoft, that in addition to Egypt in the video there were locations from other settings: Asia, France from the Second World, Abstrego at the present time.
The release is expected this year.

I like the Far Cry games, so this is good news to me (also expected news ^^).

I definitely enjoy the idea of a non-linear game path! That's a big yes from me

Well, for me AC would be way more interesting if it was linear. Think of the scripted sequences in AC: Unity, for example. Those were great. Now imagine a whole game consist of that. Without unnecessary walking and running. Would love that. :)

Very good ... I really enjoyed what I saw so far ... I hope a very good assassin creed

Perhaps you're right; I just love in general a bit more of freedom in my choices rather than a linear story line, and while some may be skeptic about this news, I welcome it with my hands opened and a very curious mind as to how is it all gonna go down xD is it the best idea for the AC franchise? We can't know for sure but yet again, I love freedom while playing so I'm all for this news \o/

I have nothing against freedom. I just got a bit tired of all those open world games lately. At the end of the day, I prefer linear games overall. Linear also means a more dense story, which I like. I guess both types of games have their advantages. :)

Let's hope AC:Origins is better than Unity and Syndicate. In my opinion Black Flag was the last good game of the franchise.

That's often happens when the series contains a lot of games
