The new BioWare game is delayed until at least April 2018

Fans of BioWare games will have to wait even longer. During the financial report of EA, on which the company was spoiled by its achievements, it was announced that now the release of the new game BioWare (codenamed Dylan) will take place in the 2019 fiscal year, which will start in April 2018th.
Let me remind you that just three months ago, on the previous financial report, EA CEO Andrew Wilson stated that he expects the release of a new IP from BioWare until March 2018. Today, at the discussion of the financial report, he noted that the indicators of Mass Effect Andromeda are not the reason for the transfer of Dylan for a later date.
In January, Wilson described the new IP BioWare as an action-adventure game, not an RPG, although the game will get a character progression system comparable to RPG. Today it was confirmed that the game will be released in a "service" format, like Destiny or The Division. And this means that there will be a lot of DLC and, most likely, microtransactions. Wilson describes the design of the game as "gorgeous", the gameplay as "excellent", and action as "cheerful."
Work on an unnamed game and its universe has been going on for five years - since 2012. This will be the first new IP BioWare since 2009.
