Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition is now available through the eShop

Nintendo Switch owners in North America can download Minecraft for their console-hybrid and take the fun on the road, if they wish.

The Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition is now available through the Nintendo eShop for $29.99. Well, tonight apparently at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET.

Along with the usual randomly generated levels, players can also play in Creative Mode with unlimited resources or try their hand at Survival Mode.

It features four-player split screen co-op and up to eight players online.

The Super Mario Mash-Up pack and other select add-ons are also included in the Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition.
