Battle with a spider-like boss in the new Phoenix Point gameplay

Crowdfunding campaign of the new game from the creator of XCOM Julian Gollop comes to an end, but it can already be considered more than successful. For 44 hours before the end of the fundraising Phoenix Point collected 713 thousand dollars, and therefore the developers of the project decided to share with the public new gameplay and screenshots.

The eight-minute video shows a battle with one of the project's bosses, accompanied by comments from Gollop himself. He immediately states that this is still a very early build of Phoenix Point, so a lot can change to release. At the moment it is clear that the basic concept of XCOM games remains unchanged and it is not yet clear what the project will be able to surprise experienced gamers.

Release Phoenix Point is scheduled for 2018 on the PC. The game will be distributed through Steam and GOG.
