Gamers crashed Two Worlds II rating on Steam due to microtransactions
The developers of Two Worlds II did not interfere with modders, as Take-Two did with GTA, but their game still fell victim to the collapse of the rating on Steam. All because of the very update with microtransactions.
Gamers turned out to be angry even despite the explanation from the developers, according to which the microtransactions in the Steam version of the game were not added as something new. This is just a transfer of functionality from the Xbox 360, where at the time of the game in 2011, there was in-game purchase of content, and on Steam there.
The number of negative reviews is not as great as in the case of the same GTA V, however this is definitely not the reaction that TopWare Interactive was waiting for.
