Developers admit that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 was a miss

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 was not a good game. To someone may have been an interesting shooter, but some of its flaws - like five-minute load - were hard to keep up to date. The point on and in this conclusion was put by the developer himself who admitted that this project was doomed to failure.

President of CI Games MArek Tyminski said that the company made the wrong calculations and deceived themselves thinking that they would be able to make the game of an open world. They even realized during the development that they had announced something too ambitious that they simply could not deliver on time. Therefore, the multiplayer component of the game was sacrificed.

However, the failure of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 was also a useful lesson for its creators who say that in the future they will focus on the structure of missions that have depth rather than grasping the open world format. As far as SGW 3 is concerned, it will receive updates by the end of this year. After that - who is alive, who is dead.

SGW3 was a good game actually, had some great ideas. I think the problem was that the previous two were just some mediocre linear CoD-like shooters and people just didn't want another one. And they didn't even bother with this one to see it brought new things to the series..

It's a good game, but stayed in the shadow of Sniper Elite 4... But I really preffer Ghost Warrior 3 though.
