Assassin's Creed is getting an anime series

In no surprising set of the circumstances Ubisoft's most fruitful series soon will receive also anime TV series. It will be directed by Adi Shankar, the guy who prepared Castlevania for Netflix, which starts this month. Shankar revealed this news in the following words:

"I am happy to tell you that I have chosen my next project. I played the first Assassin's Creed when I moved to Los Angeles while chasing my dream. At that moment I did not know anyone in the entertainment industry and I would never imagine that Ubisoft would one day ask me to take the world of Assassin's Creed and create an original story for the anime series. If anyone tells you not to follow your passion in life, they are wrong, " - said Shankar.

Since the original story is mentioned, it is likely that the anime series will follow some brand new characters instead of the previous heroes from games, movies, novels and other media.

Wow, that was really unexpected to me, since I can imaging that as a good anime now, also the games of AC are very nice and also I like to see what this anime will be, I expect much out of it. :3
