Agents of Mayhem is promoting itself on pornographic sites as part of their viral campaign

The gaming market is ruthless so we cannot really blame desperate publishers who constantly invent new crazy ways to shove their game in front of our faces and pleads us like God to buy it. But, sometimes even that does not help - remember just last year's Battlebook and how Overwatch crushed that game.

The upcoming action adventure of Agents of Mayhem at moments reminds us of the colorful Battleborn, but game publishers have now gone a step further - launching a viral campaign on theme of pornographic content. More precisely said, they most likely wanted to parody the scandals with leaking tapes of sex of famous people, and the thematic alone had something to do also with the game because one of the playable characters was a former porn actor.

The viral campaign like that started with leaked "sex video" of characters from Agents of Mayhem which suggestively are called Ivana Bangya, Gregory Prickington and Marcus Thunderpump. The video itself does not show scenes of sexual intercourse, at least not directly, but it has appeared on popular sites for viewing pornographic content. At least we have heard like that, we really do not know what those destinations are.

Is the promotion of pornographic games an acceptable strategy or will it to the publishing house Deep Silver backfire upside the head? We'll know the next month when Agents of Mayhem starts to sell.

LoL. That's a strange way to promote your game (but I'm pretty sure they'll succeed)

Interstellar

That's one way to get news of your game out there.
