Destiny 2: Mass bans without reasons

Thinking about playing Destiny 2 on your PC, beware of the first bug that compromises performance and can lead to the dreaded Destiny 2 BANIMENT.

The Bungie.net forums and Destiny subreddit were filled with publications of players who were banned from the game, without a reason why. Some believe that it may be the performance overlay system and others the chat. But the Destiny 2 community manager said many were banned without using these systems, and could be blocked but not banned.

The ban is occurring as soon as the player starts the game, which may lead to a possible bug. Activision declined to comment, but all players are advised to visit Bungie's ban site, which does not help, as the page explains that "there are no options to negotiate or reverse restrictions or ban bans."
