PUBG will not get a singleplayer campaign because the team has no time for it

If you've recently been hoping that PUBG will get its singleplayer campaign after its creator has declared that the same would be feasible, you are about to get disappointed. Brendan Greene clarified his statement and froze any promises, saying that the singleplayer campaign is not in the plan.

Greene says he has really designed a story for the initial island of PUBG, but that it was created as a reference point for designers of the world to make them have a better vision of the map they are creating. As for the reasons why SP campaign will not be, even though this to the team seems like an interesting idea, Greene says:

"We have no resources for that. We do not have time. We do not have any plans to put that into the game."

It is not entirely clear whether Greene thinks about human resources or purely financial ones (which allow them to be human). In any case, it is hard to believe that the current best-selling game this year has not yet earned enough money for the additional component. The only question remains whether the SP campaign is at all needed in this kind of game that is primarily designed by the multiplayer.

Also they need to ignore single player content to develop faster the mp since Epic's fornite and other company will take part of battle royal market.

Single player would completely change the game anyway. I don't think anyone was expecting a SP campaign anyway.

Now the game brings so much money, such global implementations do not make sense.

Agreed - the entire premise of this game was sold on multiplayer battles.  No reason to try and squeeze blood out of a stone.
