Sonic Mania Speedrun Challenge Finals

I was very happy, and actually kinda surprised, that our participants were not arrested this weekend... .... for speeding! ....

(crickets)

....

Nothing? Ok, not my best. Can we move on? 

Anyway.  We had a very great finals with some of the fastest speed runners in Sonic Mania. #1 seeded ClarisRobyn, with a time of 0:36:55, was narrowly beaten by #2 seeded, Werster, with a time of 0:35:58.  In what seemed like destiny, the odds on favorite came away with the victory in a very tightly contested race.  

Dial 911, these guys were on fire....

...still nothing?  Alright, i'm done.  I promise.  

The top 3 place times:  

1. Werster - 0:35:58
2. ClarisRobyn - 0:36:55
3. nowherejan - 0:40:08

On top of the cash prizing, all three will be getting an autographed, Sonic Mania Collectors Edition.  Congratulations to the winners and good luck in future runs.
