Hideki Kamiya would like to see Dante and Bayonetta fight
Legendary Japanese developer Hideki Kamiya behind games such as Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Viewtiful Joe, Ōkami and Bayonetta is currently employed in PlatinumGames and very unlikely is not going to work on those titles anymore. But, far away from that Kamiya no longer wants to work on the franchises that mostly belong to Capcom. In an interview for the Dengeki PlayStation magazine, Kamiya expressed some interesting desires:
"I would like to work on the remake of Devil May Cry or Viewtiful Joe or on the right sequel for Ōkami. A cooperative game with Dante and Bayonetta would also be interesting. Dear Capcom, if that's ok, I'll help whenever you need me.
Although the chances for cooperation of Dante and Bayonetta are pretty small, it's more and more often speculated about the new Devil May Cry game. Namely, Capcom will present something new on the PlayStation Experience festival on the 12 May, and it is not impossible that it might just be the new Devil May Cry. Since Kamiya has publicly expressed his willingness to borrow Bayonetta, who knows - maybe that witch actually ends up in some DmC title, even as a DLC package.
