Get ready, DayZ finally leaves Early Access

Despite the fact that the DayZ mod has been available since 2012, its separate version that appeared on Steam a year later could not find a way to get out of a hole called Early Access. However, this does not mean that such a venture is absolutely written off. Namely, developer Bohemia Interactive recently suggested that the game should officially come out next year, and on top of that, it will appear also on consoles.

The lead producer, Eugene Harton, revealed that their current plan is that game gets one huge update, or beta, before it wiggles out of Early Access phase. The team claims that it does not intend to stop on that, given that DayZ beta is just "the beginning of the [ecosystem] platform that will be extend by us, but also our modding community".

Finally, Harton on the official site shared also the details around what we can expect from the beta, and once PC version of the same goes in the right direction, the video game will also come to Xbox One console. Talk about PlayStation 4 release there was no which could mean that we will not try to survive in this zombie apocalypse also on Sony console.

About time! Too bad other people moved on to other games. Was DayZ that had the longest Early Access? The community is split between the ARMA II mod and standalone DayZ. Some prefer one, some the other.

DayZ come late for now, there are so many games that offer something similar and with better performance and playability.

I was a great dayz player from the mod days, but time passes irremediably and I dont want to play this again...
