PUBG will run at 30 FPS across all Xbox One devices

Brendan Greene , also known as PLAYERUNKNOWN  the Creative Director of PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) recently mentioned  on twitter that the game won't be able to run at more than 30 FPS across all Xbox One devices.

"While I previously stated PUBG would run at higher FPS at XGP launch on 12/12, I want to clarify that PUBG will run at 30 FPS across all One devices. We’re constantly refining the game & exploring options to increase FPS, but this early in dev, we’re unable to confirm more."

PUBG will be available to play on Xbox One and Xbox One X on December 12 through the Xbox Game Preview programme.

Not sure whether to laugh at the consoles' lack of power or the game's lack of optimisation.

Imma go with both xD

scientist have shown that the eyes of a console pheasant cant see anything beyond 30 fps,  ANy more and they start to pass out like those startled goats.    It would be suicide for a dev to go over 30fps.  Think of all the coffee tables and controllers they would be liable for with console pheasants passing out left and right.

Its probably to balance out gameplay. The xbox one, one s, and one x all have their respective hardware and newer consoles would have a edge over old ones which could be unfair. I guess that's how they are balancing it out. I could be wrong though.

They never said it will be 30 FPS forever. At least they are looking into it and they are trying. I'm sure they cannot do 60 at 4K, but in 1080p you can do that. There is a handful of games that can do 60. Console players need high frame rates just like PC players. The experience is better if the frame rate is higher than 30.
