My Steelport Server Closure for Saints Row 3 & Saints Row 4

Character and Screenshot Sharing for Saints Row 3 & 4 will be shutdown January 31st, 2018

The Developer posted an article on their website:

We have made the decision to close the My Steelport server. This means character and screenshot sharing services in Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV will no longer be available after January 31st 2018.

The decision to switch off the servers was difficult for us and not taken lightly. We want our fans to enjoy our work for as long as possible. However more than 4 years after Saints Row IV released, we have experienced a significant reduction in the numbers of players using these services.

We believe our resources are now better spent on preparing for the future! We'd like to thank everyone who has used and enjoyed the content sharing and community features on SaintsRow.com for their support.

If your an Achievement/Trophy hunter this affects two achievements:

Saints Row 3- Jumped In achievement:

Saints Row 4- Saintified achievement:

Which are both for Creating & Sharing a character online:

Create and share a character online.

Make sure to get them while you still can!

Time's going, games getting old, servers looses popularity — ofc it should have happened sooner or later. But in my opinion it's good to keep some kind of low cost server just for fans if u added such option when creating a game.
