Need for Speed Payback will get free roam in online environment

Need for Speed Payback is not particularly rich in its online multiplayer component, but in 2018 it will at least have more content. Namely, Ghost Games has announced that it will respond to fans' requests and will release free roam in online mode in one of the upcoming updates. In the current state, NFS Payback has no option for you to drive together with your friends through city, without the need for racing or competing.

As free roam in online enviroment is something that players have really wanted, it would be extremely evil for something like that to be charged, so this add-on to the game will still be free to all owners of Payback. There is no known date when free roam should become live, but it is assumed that to Electronic Arts is in the interest of launching this update as soon as possible - while still also hardcore fans have not written off NFS Payback.
