Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta on PS4 and Xbox
Releasing later this month, January 26th, Dragon Ball FighterZ is a 3-on-3 fighting game that collects the cast of Dragon Ball series in a series of epic fights, using all the famous moves and powers from the hit anime series.
Announced at E3 last year, the game has seen an incredible amount of support already - it's a fighting game that has captured the attention of hardcore genre fans and casual players alike.
Developed by ArcSystem Works (the studio behind such games as Guilty Gear and BlazBlue), the game is already gathering a lot of momentum, and after a closed beta late last year, it looks set to draw in even more gamers with its bombastic style and frantic pace.
After the success of the closed beta, Bandai Namco has opted to put the beta out to everyone.
The open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available to download on PS4 and Xbox One right now.
Thankfully the file size is farely modest, at just 2.4GB on PS4 at least (we're unaware of the Xbox file size right now, but can't imagine it's that much bigger).
You can start downloading now ahead of its start time this weekend, which kicks off on Saturday 13th January - if you pre-ordered the game - at 00:00 PST, which translates as 8AM GMT for anyone in the UK.
If you haven't pre-ordered the game, then you should be able to jump in one day later on Sunday 14th January at 00:00 PST, which again is 8AM GMT in the UK.
This beta will eventually come to an end on Tuesday 16th January at the same time, meaning everyone has a good few days to sample the game and the beta's 11 playable characters.
The game will be available on:
