Started Hearthstone World Championship, the prize pool is a million dollars
Hearthstone HCT World Championship is underway which will complete all of this year's season competitions then reveal the new owner of a shinning blue statue. The competition started on the 18th of January and will last until 21st January when we expect playoffs, and after that the finals of the competition. The best contestants are waiting for a 1 million dollar prize pool, out of which the winner goes home with 250 thousand dollars while the rest is shared with the other 15 participants of the final round.
In addition to watching, Hearthstone fans can also participate in voting for a contestant which, in their opinion, will most likely reach further in the competition. Voting Prizes will be manifested in the form of card packs you get in the game. The further your favorite reaches, the higher your chances of winning a better prize are.

Taiwanese player tom60229 crowned Hearthstone world champion
He beat tournament favourite Fr0zen in the final.
The year-long Hearthstone Championship Tour has dealt its last card, and Taiwanese player tom60229 has ended up on top of the pile. He came back from 2-0 down to beat tournament favourite Fr0zen, from the USA, in today's grand final, after four days of play in Amsterdam at the World Championship.
