PUBG will no longer be able to play through Steam Family Sharing option
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds were sold in more than 30 million copies, but was played more than 30 million players in total. Namely, if the game someone purchased from your Family Sharing list on Steam, the game you could have "borrow" from his collection when that account is not active. So you could have played this popular battle royale game without paying anything for it.
But, that will not work any more. PUBG will soon be excluded from Family Sharing, which will look to some like clear greed from the developer. However, they say that this decision was made purely for the sake of the game itself, or as one of the measures to fight against hackers and cheaters, which in the game, hand on heart, do not lack.
The second decision made by the developers relates to those who modify the game files in any way. Such access to the game will also be blocked, whether or not they modified something intended to optimize the game or to change certain mechanics.
