After four years underwater game of survival Subnautica has finally emerged from the Early Access phase and has picked up a very solid ratings at the moment. However, its publisher and developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment roses do not bloom in bright colors, as could be expected, because of the controversy recently introduced by one of its employees. Namely, a sound designer named Simon Chylinski shared a small series of commentaries on social networks that had bothered some players; what is in the end what got him fired because his "hateful statements opposed the company's values".

It all started last weekend when one fan of Subnautica on Twitter revealed series of senseless posts related to race and gender, all while to itself has tied poll from the 2016 when game's director Charlie Cleveland asked players to choose between playing a female or to studio dedicates itself to improving underwater adventure. Chylinski then wrote that "we need sliders of diversity" in options to turn our same character into something dark, more feminine and less sex appeal being. "

Although Cleveland dismissed such objections as pure scrutiny, Twitter users drifted deeper into Chylinsky's account where they found a series of inappropriate statements and postings condemning immigration from third-world countries, mocking the problems of transgender people and the inequality of pay among the sexes. It should also be emphasized that the director of the Subnautica also wiped out the original poll and apologized for the badly written article adding that he was also fighting for the representation of women in his own team and games because it was extremely important to him.

Why do ordinary people have to suffer? Dismissal of specialists -> reduction in the quality of content.

They fired him.  How many sound engineers have they interviewed?  I doubt the game dies in development due to him leaving.
