Darksiders 3 and Biomutant will not have any protection against pirates

Big-budget games on the PC are often protected by various anti-piracy measures that in some cases may have a bad impact on performance, or performance of the game. It is no wonder, therefore, that the players on the PC like the term "DRM-free" as it indicates the ability to install the game without any other accompanying software and applications.

A good news for PC players is that at least two upcoming games in 2018 will start with DRM-free access. It is about Darksiders 3 and BioMutant, the action titles that will in release for PC appear right away also at the GOG store. Both games have the same publisher in THQ Nordic which obviously believes in their success. We hope they'll be right.

It's good at least some of the publishers had enough reason not to put this protection

Good.  Copy protection is antiquated and unnecessary.

Having dealt with Ubisoft's flawed, double-DRM implementation on Assassin's Creed Origins (VMProtect on top of Denuvo), I'm really excited to hear Darksiders 3 won't have DRM!

That's not a bad decision.The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt don't have protection,either.

Great news!

Sadly most anti-piracy measures are hurting the customers.

Diablo 3 comes to mind...
