Kingdom Come: Deliverance managed to sell in a million copies despite bugs

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is not entirely a project of independent production, but is a debut game from one European team, also with that is the RPG without dragons, magic and the similar things. To such games are usually not predicted market success, so it's nice to hear that this Czech title surpassed expectations.

Namely, developers praised that Kingdom Come: Deliverance was sold in over 1 million copies in the first week when you combine sales on all platforms (PC, PS4 and XBOX). It is a special success because the first image of the game is not very nice - the game is full of different bugs, what funny what serious, and that is what first jumps out on the internet. Luckily, underneath all these bugs hides a fairly unique and ambitious game, so it's nice that players have recognized them.

Developers, of course, are aware of the bugs also then to the whole situation, are approaching with jokes at their expense, but they also promise to patch them as soon as possible. A major update for the game is expected next week, and it should bring better optimization and several new functionality, including the ability to save the position when you quit the game.

lol dat video.  Only in the video game industry can you sell broken stuff for $60 and get away with it.

Here I am, ready to play. Gaming enthusiast without free time to actually play video games but eager to learn anything

Well, seems that despite the bugs, people that had played it, love all the new ideas the game offers and they love it so, maybe it's a good game to buy to play this summer when they fix some of those bugs.

I had a lot of fun watching the fail compilation video XD.

Galactic

the hype is real. bugs can be patched though..
but when I think of ME andromeda it's kinda sad, how they all destroyed this game bc of a few bad animations.

Planetary

Bugs can be patched.

When the first reviews started rolling in I was a bit worried that it was falling well short of expectations, but expectations certainly were very high. It has stayed firmly near the top of my wishlist :)
