Red Dead Redemption approaches playable version on PC

What you see above is really Red Dead Redemption on PC but through a new version of RPCS3 emulator. Since Rockstar's success has never appeared in the PC version, it is currently the only hope that one day will be playable through the emulator. Indeed, the development of the emulator is going quite slowly and the question is when the game will reach its playable state.

A kind of consolation is that the team behind the first open-source PS3 emulator this year is making bigger shifts in the emulation of PS3 games, as demonstrated in the lower video. In addition to Red Dead Redemption, the emulator now runs more or less successfully games such as Uncharted, Yakuza, Skate 3 and others. Of course, none of these games are fully playable at this stage, but the progress compared to the previous version of the emulator is very noticeable.

My compliments to the team, you guys are progressing incredibly fast!

Oh man, the expectations of this game are huge! I hope they don't fuck it up

This is all good, but it would be better if they released it on the PC at the same time and 2 part, which will be released at the end of the year

I feel like there's enough PS exclusives that emulation isn't really viable if you care about playing those games. I mean, there's still N64 games that are problematic for emulation. I know RDR is on 360 as well, but XBox has minimal exclusives.

I want I want I want. But I'm not convinced it will ever reach a playable state on anything but an absolute top-of-the-line PC, and then I should probably just buy a PS3 instead ...

Missed opportunity of Rockstar to not release an official PC remaster now before the sequel, would have sold lots
