Bethesda's Todd Howard to receive Industry Legend Award

  • 919

Bethesda Game Studios' Todd Howard for years is the face that announces new Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. This role carries a certain "glory", so fans of Bethesda games see him in happy moments as a messiah, and in the moments of drought they call him out for laziness.

But whether or not Howard is currently working on the new Elder Scrolls or he's just slacking, later this month he will receive the Industry Legend award at the Gamelab conference in Barcelona.

Howard will like that join an elite society of legends in which are now maker of Pac-Man, Final Fantasy creator and others. On that occasion, Howard will look back at his work at Bethesda through the last 24 years and will most likely not be able to avoid the question - what about the new Elder Scrolls?

Honorary award at Gamelab will receive also Amy Hennig, the writer of Uncharted games and former creative director at Naughty Dog.

Fallout series?  Fallout 3 and 4, but not Fallout (1) and Fallout 2.

Who is this Todd Howard? I only heard about one, but he never said a word of truth. And nothing to do with Fallout 1 and 2. Sorry for my english.

This man - he did such a great work! In the future we will hear about him ;)

Interstellar

Awesome and very well deserved! Insane work and crazy titles. Still I think it hilarious the pairing with Sweet Little Lies. LOL.
