Star Wars game of the late Visceral Games now looks unrecognizably different

Dead Space series developers last year were forced to disband into the unknown, and their action adventure in the Star Wars universe, focused on the linear story, was submitted to a new team that was given the task of turning it into something completely different.

In the midst of that chaos it was not quite clear what would happen to Amy Hennig, a high-profile scriptwriter who worked on the game. Electronic Arts said they've negotiated with her, but now we find out that from these negotiations nothing have become fruitful.

As shared by the portal Eurogamer in conversation with Hennig, former Uncharted creator no longer works for Electronic Arts. Since the beginning of this year she has gone to independent production and has started a small studio that is still considering what kind of projects will do.

Hennig just briefly recalled at her failed game from which we so far have seen just a clip of few seconds. As she says, this game is put on the shelf and is no longer in the plan. What in the end grows from its foundations will not be nearly similar to the original idea.

"The Vancouver studio is working on something pretty different. It's really not... Y'know, once you go more open world it's such a different game to the one we were making. Everybody loved what we were doing and I'd love to see us resurrect that somehow, but it's complicated," concluded Hennig.
