Batman Arkham series creators are still not ready to announce their new game
2016 is the year in which studio Rocksteady released their VR version of Batman and then, like the hero from these games, mysteriously disappeared from the scene. Although we were given to knowledge that they will work on a new game, two years have passed since then when we did not know nothing concrete about the next Rocksteady project. Unfortunately, as things stand - we will continue to know nothing about this project for some time.
San Diego Comic Con is set to take place soon from July 19 to July 22, where, if it's to believe director Jamie Walker's words, Rocksteady will not honor us with their presence. Why? For the same reason they did not appear at E3 2018 - because they are not yet ready to announce their new game.
Jamie Walker shared a Twitter message in which he apologizes to players for lack of new information: "We know that some of you were disappointed that we did not appear at this year's E3 show. Everyone in Rocksteady reads your comments and we are very pleased to see you show this much passion for our new project," he wrote.
"We'd love to be there but won't be ready to talk about our next game for a while yet. You'll know when it's time."
Another message that does not actually say anything concrete - a message with no set deadlines, no details about the game. Though it is not specified anywhere that the game could not be ready by tomorrow, the tone of shared Twitter message does not pour confidence in upcoming announcement.
