Blizzard confirmed not one but a few new Diablo games (we have no idea how many)

Blizzard is working on multiple projects of the Diablo series. This is information that was nonchalantly shared by Brandy Camel, one of the community leaders gathered around the Diablo games. Camel first confirmed that Diablo 3 will continue to have more themed seasons with which have started just recently, and then "dropped the bomb" announcing that Blizzard is working on several Diablo projects at the same time.

On some of these projects will be worked for a long time, but Diablo fans can hope for something to be done at the end of this year. In translation, at Blizzcon we will definitely get the announcement of some "new" Diablo game. Put it in quotation because it is likely that Blizzard could remaster some of older titles, just as same what it did with the original StarCraft.

The video was concluded with the message that Diablo will always be part of Blizzard's identity and that definitely has the future as such. Will it stay tied to the genre of hack'n'slash RPG or is it time for Diablo to expand its horizons? The answer is hiding in the dark dungeons of Blizzard's offices.
