Terminal Cancer patient plays Smash Bros early

  • 28

Chris Taylor, has battled Cancer for the better part of his life. Recently he discovered that he has terminal cancer and only has a few months to live. He expressed his concerns on Twitter of not making it to Super Smash Bros Ultimate’s release.

Im really scared i won't be able to play ultimate

Though facing the end is going to happen, yet why not play some Super Smash Bros Ultimate before you go out. Chris’s concerns have gathered the attention of Nintendo themselves. They decided to drop by his house and give him the E3 demo of Smash Bros for him to play in the meantime.

WE DID IT GUYS

Today two nintendo reps came down with the E3 demo of Smash Ultimate and i got to play it for 3 hours with a local friend, my brother and my mom :)

I got pictures incoming but still like holy shit

Thanks to everyone who did this for me, you're all the real champ

I found out they were coming around Tuesday and couldn't say cause even a switch with a demo on it is a high value target to be stolen, same for as why i didn't get to keep the demo (though i absolutely expected that)

Seriously though, thank you all so much, you all did this

Nintendo may do some silly things sometimes but they are good people for sure. Creative people who expressed their gratitude in the best way possible.
