Overkill’s The Walking Dead arrives on Steam for PC today

Folks around the globe can now purchase the four-player co-op action game Overkill’s The Walking Dead on PC.

In it, players team up with other survivors to face the horrors of  post-apocalyptic Washington, DC.  The first season of 10 episodes is available in full today, while the second season of episodes will release later this month.

It will run you $59.99 and the price includes all episodes from the game’s first two seasons of content.

Players can also purchase the Deluxe Edition for $79.99. It includes the full game, both first and second seasons of content, the Night Raid Collection cosmetic DLC, a digital artbook, and the game’s digital soundtrack.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead was initially announced in 2014 from Payday 2 developer Overkill, with a 2016 release date. It was pushed back to 2017 and then delayed a second time. It’s finally here, though.

Those who pre-ordered the game were able to play it via the closed beta back in October.

Not sure how much it'll have to do with TWD if it's a shooter since... well almost nobody has had a gun since season 1 but it looks good.

Well, there were a lot of issues in Beta, not sure they fixed them.

Hard to play medic if you loaded into mission without a HUD.  Also the game would crash randomly, like when we were 50 mins into a mission, nearly at the end, and the game crashed so no rewards.  Just a big waste of time.

I wouldn't buy it at 59.99, even with all the proposed maps being included. Completely overpriced. mi

Do you even watch TWD?  They still have guns, lots of them and ammo too.  o.O
