New comparison screenshots released for the upcoming new version of The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project

Modder ‘Halk Hogan’ has released some new comparison screenshots between the upcoming version of his HD Reworked Project and the vanilla version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. These new screenshots showcase some of the improved textures that Halk Hogan is bringing to the table. Moreover, the modder claimed that “something… like never before…” will be featured in this upcoming version.

In case you weren’t aware of, The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project aims to overhaul CD Projekt RED’s title, featuring high quality meshes with a lot of details (most of them are created from scratch and good optimalization is preserved), very high quality detailed textures with great sharpness and performance, without any unnecessary VRAM losses, very high quality accurate normal maps and specially customized materials for all reworked stuff.

It’s pretty clear – from all the comparison screenshots released so far for this mod – that Halk Hogan has put a lot of work into it. Not only that, but the end results are amazing and this is one of the must-have mods for The Witcher 3. Thanks to some lighting mods and this HD Reworked Project, the modded version of The Witcher 3 feels like a remaster.

Unfortunately there is no ETA on when this new version of the mod will come out, however, we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Until then, enjoy the following screenshots.

Enjoy!

Nice Screen Shots

I Like The Render Of The Image, Much Better Pixel Display

Questionable to say if this is worth the time for the given outcome so far, but to each their own.

Выглядит многообещающе. После выхода The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, будет ещё один повод перепройти столь замечательную игру.

I... don't really see the point of this. Witcher 3 is still basically this-gen, and these "HD" differences are almost undetectable.

Very minimal changes, but whatever ^^

At first I misread it as Witcher remake though...I'd love that, Witcher 1 was a mediocre game with a good story, the combat system was just so bad.

well remaking witcher 1 in the witcher 3 engine would be a tremendous task but there is a mod that remade the Prologue of the first game

What's the point in polishing (almost) perfection? To melt down CPUs/GPUs? ;)

yep minimal differences
