What's coming in World of Warcraft's 8.2 patch
This massive patch which was announced at BlizzCon 2018 will add:
- Nazjatar zone
- Mechagon zone and Mega-dungeon
- Azshara's Eternal Palace raid
- Mechagon Arena
- Tauren and gnome heritage armor
- New Island Expeditions: Crestfall and Snowblossom
- Heroic Warfront difficulty
- Flying in Kul Tiras and Zandalar
Nazjatar
This zone will be available for both Alliance and Horde to explore and players will encounter Queen Azshara and her underwater people. The best part about storyline coming with this zone is that it won't be gated so players can enjoy it in one sitting if they choose so. Blizz will most probably also add new World Quests and new faction rep grinds.
Blizz have also announced that there will be new public events similar to Legion Assaults from the previous expansion.
Mechagon
This will be a single zone that will host a Mythic-only, 8-boss megadungeon and the Mechagon Arena.
Flying
We currently don't know the requirements for ”Pathfinder, Part Two” but they will most likely be similar to those from Legion. Going into speculation territory, we'll have to gain at least revered with all of the new factions introduced in 8.2, and discover all the major sections of Nazjatar.
Azerite Armor & Heart of Azeroth Improvements
The upcoming changes to the Heart of Azeroth will give it traits similar to what we saw on artifact weapons in Legions. Hopefully Blizz will manage to balance this new traits nicely and they won't feel like a total letdown.
Azshara’s Eternal Palace
Players will finally be able to fight Queen Azshara herself after years of waiting! This new raid will include 8 bosses and will have Nazjatar themed armor and weapons.
Island Expeditions
8.2 will add 2 new island expeditions:

Crestfall is the site of a great battle from Warcraft II. When attempting to warn his father of the dangers of the dragon riders, Derek Proudmoore was killed at sea.

Snowblossom is a Pandaren Island, featuring the return of the Vermin from Valley of the Four Winds.
