Apex Legends - Different ammon have different speeds

Sean Slayback of Apex Legends responded to a player on Twitter about how ammo types are different.
Conventional ammo suffers from drag similar to real world physics but energy weapons have no such limitations in the world of Apex Legends.
1) All ammo types will slow enemies down when you hit them.
2) Energy ammo doesn't have extra shield breaking power.
3) Energy ammo projectiles aren't slowed by drag and have the fastest flight velocity in each weapon class.
This probably won't matter to the casual player but it will make a big difference to competitive players when you're fighting up close or sniping an enemy from afar.
